DEIB Statement
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are the foundational components of what we are, why we exist, and whowe serve. As we continue to navigate community crises, systemic inequities, and historical trauma, westrive to foster belonging, purpose, and opportunity for families in our community. We are committed to equitable practices, accountability, and transparency with our DEI efforts, both internally and withthe communities we serve.
Importantly, our approach to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging includes a commitment to representation in leadership that reflects the staff and the community we serve. For example, to serve our families – 57% of whom are Latinx – 56% of CPI staff are Spanish/English bilingual.
In addition, CPI will uplift the value and presence of mentors and peer providers with lived experience as essential to supporting families in our community.
